ORDER:-

            The following Notification will be published in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette

NOTIFICATION

            WHEREAS the Governor of Tamil Nadu is satisfied that public interest requires that the 100% Export Oriented Units approved by the Government of India and units set up in the Export Processing Zone established with the approval of the Government of India declared to be a Public Uitlity Service for the purposes of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 (Central Act XIV/1947).

            NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of powers conferred by sub-clause (vi)  of clause (n) of section 2 read with the proviso thereto of the said Act, the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby declares the 100% Export Oriented Units approved by the Government of India and units set up in the Export Processing Zone established with the approval of the Government of India to be a Public Utility Service for the purposes of the said act, for a period of six months with effect on and date of publication of this Notification in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette.
