Sub:-  Disposal of one lot of items listed in the annexure of M/s. CEE (I) TV

          Entertainment Limited, an evicted Unit of MEPZ-SEZ.

            It is proposed to dispose the items mentioned in the annexure  available in the MEPZ-SEZ, since resumed and taken possession under the provisions of Public Premises (Eviction of Unauthorised Occupants) Act, 1971. 

            Applicable Customs duty should be paid before removal of the goods.

            The terms and conditions of the disposal are as under:-

1.       The goods available in the premises may be inspected by the intending bidders from25.08.2008 to 26.08.2008 from 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m.

2.       The intending bidders may submit their offers for the entire lot in a sealed cover addressed to Development Commissioner, MEPZ-SEZ in person latest by  27.08.2008 at 15.00 hrs.   The bids will be opened at 16.00 hrs on the same day.

3.       The bid should be accompanied by an EMD of Rs. 25,000/- which should be in the form of A/c payee DD drawn in favour of the Development Commissioner, MEPZ-SEZ.

4.       The successful bidder should pay the full amount of the bid within 7 days in the form  of  A/c payee DD drawn in favour of Development Commissioner, MEPZ-SEZ, and the applicable Customs Duty as levied by the MEPZ Customs should be paid in for the form of A/c Payee DD drawn in favour of the “Commissioner of Customs”, Chennai within that period.  Failure to make these payments within 7 days or within such extended time as may be permited, will entail forfeiture of the EMD.

5.       MEPZ-SEZ reserves the right to fix minimum bid amount and the right to reject all bids without assigning any reason, and call for bid through Auction.

6.       The goods should be removed at the cost of the successful bidder within 5 days after payment.

7.       The intending bidder should send/deliver in person their bids in their letter head, clearly indicating the name of the Authorised signatory, TNGST registration number, failing which the bid may be rejected and the successful bidder will be issued delivery challan/gate pass and Sales Tax liability, wherever applicable will be borne by the successful bidder.
